Mohammed ‘Mos’ Sedenu

Project Director

Following 25 years of experience in and around power projects with a focus on the construction, commissioning, and early operations of a combined cycle power plant, Mos moved into project development around the EMEA and CIS regions for the AES Corporation, where he worked for 12 years.

In 2005 Mos left AES to help establish and seed fund an entirely new international Arm of ONE (the Morocco utility), which sought to leverage its domestic operational capabilities in the IPP environment.

Mos subsequently worked on his own, collaborating on project development and equity raise with private African partners, while maintaining an associate role with Aldwych International, now Anergi. In 2015, Mos signed on fully to support the close of projects in Anergi’s development portfolio as well as lead business development activities across several territories.

Mos has a master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Manchester University and an MBA from Imperial College. He is also a registered Chartered Engineer.
