Maria has extensive experience in power project development and financing in developing markets, particularly in and sub-Saharan Africa. During her career with Anergi, Maria led the development of Amandi Energy in Ghana and Azura-Edo IPP and also headed the business development team of Anergi.
Prior to joining Anergi, Maria gained experience in infrastructure investment at Man Group and on the Global Natural Resources and Power investment banking team of Goldman Sachs.
Maria holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Mendeleev University in Moscow.
