Emile is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Harith General Partners, the fund manager of the two entities which wholly own Anergi, namely the Pan African Infrastructure Development Fund 2 (PAIDF 2) and Harith InfraCo Limited.
Prior to joining Harith, he worked for Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) between 2003 and 2011, where he was Divisional Executive for Private Equity and Investment Banking. He has also served on the Board of SAVCA from 2009 to 2014 and was its Chairperson between 2011 and 2014.
He currently serves on the boards of various other Harith portfolio companies, including Lake Turkana Wind Power, Traxtion Holdings and Harith InfraCo (the newly established Investment Holdco vehicle of the Harith group)
Emile is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and holds a B.Comm (Acc) Hons degree from University of Johannesburg. Emile is also a CFA Charter holder obtained from the CFA Institute in 2001.
