Senior Manager, Strategy and Corporate Development

Amarish is responsible for a breadth of functions that include managing and coordinating the design and creation of Anergi’s strategy and business plan, capital market activities, implementing its sustainability programme, governing its risk management approach, and leading strategic initiatives.

With over 15 years of power industry experience, Amarish brings demonstrable corporate and project finance expertise. He has had significant involvement in both debt and equity raising at corporate level, as well as in several high-profile energy transactions across sub-Saharan Africa, including the Kelvin, Rabai and Lake Turkana Wind Power Projects.

Following his roles as Finance Manager and subsequently Deputy Finance Director at Aldwych International, he took on his new role at Anergi, in June 2019. 

He qualified as a certified chartered accountant and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Information Management and Finance from the University of Westminster.

Amarish has also completed the Leading Strategic Projects Programme at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, and the Business Sustainability Management course at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
