Omosuyi Fred-Omojole

Head of Legal and Chief of Staff

Suyi is responsible for all Anergi’s legal and compliance matters. He also plays a key role in the implementation of Anergi’s strategic and commercial objectives, including fundraising, growth initiatives, stakeholders’ engagement and deal execution processes.

Suyi possesses significant experience advising on and executing a wide range of corporate, commercial and financing transactions, with a particular focus on the development, financing, acquisitions and divestments of power, energy and infrastructure assets across sub-Saharan Africa. 

He serves on the board of several Anergi group entities and portfolio companies, including Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited (Alternate Director), Anergi Africa Developments Limited (Director), and Anergi Azura Limited (Director).

Prior to joining Anergi, Suyi worked as an international transactional lawyer at Slaughter and May (London), Aluko & Oyebode (Lagos), Linklaters (London) and Dentons (London) respectively. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with first-class honours from the University of Buckingham and a Master of Laws degree with merit from the London Schools of Economics and Political Science. 

Suyi writes and speaks regularly on a wide range of transactional and socio-economic developmental matters in sub-Saharan Africa. He is also passionate about mentoring students and young professionals.
